\"The only future peace has to offer is war.\"
As long as mankind lives there will be war. Is war justified? I don't think that's for any one person to decide. Is any conflict justified? It is to those who fight for it.

Pray for Peace but prepare for war. War, in our society is a necessary evil. People just can't settle things without getting heated and bringing other people into it. Then once other people are in it it begins to snowball and all heck breaks loose. Well, it is still a little to early for me to be like all with the smarts, see i can't even speak go english right now, egh.
I look forward to hearing what everyone else has to say.

Where ever there is a need, desire or interest there is always a justification. Name a situation and you will find a justifier. And just as there are innumerable justifications there is no one Peace. True that some may find this after war, as there are those who may find peace doing war, but unless the whole of humanity sees with one eye there can be no peace after war. But who would want to see with one eye other than those who want the things to remain as they are, a status quo.

Is war ever justified?...hhhmmm...how about, what makes it justified?
A justified war has many factors to consider. The loss of human life, destruction of property, gain or loss of control of a region. On the otherside, the preservation of life through the annihilation of \"insurgents\". One would have to look at the big picture or the goal to result from a war in order to conclude justification. Also, one would have to see it through the eyes of the oppressed. People can easily say a war is a waste of time, if they have no idea what its like in that country first hand. Sometimes you need to see for yourself firsthand and not just by what the media displays. The media tends to manafest opinions for the public. So, unless you have been there one would have no idea how justified the war would be.

Is war justified? What does salt taste like? What color is blue? Simple answer, yes, war can be justified, depending on who's side you are on and what is perceived as right. Can you win the fight and still loose the war? yes.
As I get older, I see the loss of human life that comes with war and it saddens me. I hear of solders who were once young and innocent come home changed, or worse, they commit atrocities after experiencing personal atrocities.
This reflection may be based on the fact that I now have sons (one now) who are old enough to go to war. The things we fight for and the reasons we fight are not as clear as they were during WWII.
I must refer to Master Yoda when he said, The dark side clouds everything.

War should always be used as a last result but we should never attack but always defend. it seems that america must get involved in everything. Some countries do not beleve as we do. and while we may not agree we must respect it and move on
