As everyone (at least in the media) seems to go completely crazy at the idea of a meltdown in Japan, I'd like to remind everyone that an air cooled (ed) once caught fire and lots of radioactive materials were dispersed in the area. And that was 1950's technology. Guess what, just like the people who lived there at the time, you can be on the site and not die! the place is Sellafield. There are plenty more nuclear facilities there, and people keep on not dying (I'm sure they do it on purpose, just to piss off environmental terrorists. How dare they live.)



Incidentally that's where the uranium/plutonium mixture used at the newer fukushima reactors is/was being produced. Someone there has a colony of black cats in their home, the shed is likely full of ladders too.

Convictions are more dangerous foes of truth than lies.
