I was sent an amazing email today ,regarding 3 cheetah cubs downing a young Thompsons Gazelle. Unfortunately I can't seem to be able to upload the pictures. So I will tell this story instead ...as a bit of humour.

In 1974. Peter Juber a South African game warden and expert on the African Elephant. He was studying a heard in Marsabit Northern Kenya.

One day he came across a young bull which was in obvious discomfort from some barbed wire which was wrapped around its leg.

Peter calmly approached the bull very slowly . whispering to the bull. Sensing that he was not in danger from Peter the bull alowed Peter to remove the wire and treat the wound. The would was quite bad and infected , It would be best to take the animal into care, This was done,It was later decided that the animal would kept in captivity .

Some years later Peter was visiting an Elephant sanctuary in Namibia. He was out with two other rangers doing some checks and came across a small group of Elephant.

One Large bull on seeing Peter raised his trunk flapped his ears and roared. Looking closely Peter suddenly thaught. Could this be the Elephant he had looked after all those years ago. He approached carefully so not to startle the animals.

Peter stood in front of the large bull and whispered hello boy nice to see you. The bull Elephant, picked Peter up and slammed him into the ground killing him instantly....clearly not the same Elephant.... :)....

Have a nice day lol

Yours in the spirit of Budo

Mike

The Law Of The Wild says kill only when you are hungry

Photographer Michel Denis-Huot, who captured these amazing pictures on safari in Kenya's Masai Mara in October last year, said he was astounded by what he saw:

\"These three brothers (cheetahs) have been living together since they left their mother at about 18 months old,' he said. 'On the morning we saw them, they seemed not to be hungry, walking quickly but stopping sometimes to play together. 'At one point, they met a group of impala who ran away. But one youngster was not quick enough and the brothers caught it easily'\".

These extraordinary scenes followed.

Hope this has worked
