Here is a start of a good thread as we come to the end of another year and start into a new one. I would like to hear about one time when you felt someone acted like a Jedi or was living the Creed. I will start as mine was today.

Today I spent most of the morning and afternoon making some very special deliveries. Part of it was donations for Toys for Tots that were left over and got taken to the Salvation Army (Charity organization here in the US) Other deliveries were picking up donations and taking to several families that list their homes Monday morning when an apartment fire destroyed the homes and possessions of 10 families. One of these families were good friends of mine that are very good people who even in these hard times wanted some of our donations to them to go to the other families and they did not feel right accepting gifts until we were able to convince them that we had made several donations to the whole group of families that fell victim to the fires. To me that is a very high Jedi quality. To have nothing and still wish to give what you have to others is a shining beacon of hope and good will that should set and example to all. Though they are not Jedi by name they have the Jedi heart.

A lot of the observations that I have made over the years have been from using a public bus. On a bus people act like people. Quick to judge ,angry scared , greedy, you name it I've seen it on a bus. For a long time I've acted like one of them. Scared of the people that I should love so much and put so much hope in to. One day I had a chance to brake away from them. I was a bus stop and a heavy sized woman sat next to me. She had a frosty drink in her hand. Right away I started to judge her though being a Jedi I stopped my self. When the bus arrived she and i got on the bus. I payed my way and walked to the back. When I turned around I heard the over sized lady looking in a coin purse. Obviously she did not have a full fare so she began to buy her time. The bus driver asked her to get off and refused. Then an old man with glasses in the front seat told her to get off the bus. Thats when she got really mad and started to kick him in the face. His glasses broke and fell to the floor. He tried to pick them up but as he bent down she kicked him again.
Without thinking I Rushed her and pushed her back. Another young man was right behind me and I pretty much went right under his arm as he was so much taller than me. After that the young man and the lady fought for a little while. He ended up chocking her and telling her to stop. She the shook her head yes and he let her go. She left and the bus driver called the cops.

I didn't get to fight the lady and I guess that was a good thing seeing as she was 3 times my weight and size. How ever I felt like a Jedi at that point because while every one else just watched in fear 2 people, without thought, acted and defended some one in need.

All other times that i felt like a Jedi were just times that i gave some one advise that worked and i was thanked for it.
