Thanks

Here in the US we celebrate a holiday called Thanksgiving which is coming up this Thursday the 25th. The tradition is to gather together as a family and have a large feast and give thanks to what you have. So in that spirit I wanted to start a thread here for people to say what they are thankful for.

To start I am most thankful for my daughter, she brings me joy on even the darkest day. She always knows just when daddy needs a hug, a snuggle, or a 4am wake up She reminds me where we all started and the long road traveled and the adventures ahead. She shows that even the simplest objects can spark the imagination.

I am also thankful for this site. Through its teachings and the wisdom of those that have gone before me I have learned better control of my emotions. I have learned that each person though unique in many ways all deserve the right to learn and grow as they please.

I am thankful for my family, my daughter on the way and the people around me who I care for and care for me.

I am thankful for This community for being a place to share thoughts with like minded folk, to gain wisdom and training and for the ability to give back to this community that has given me focus and a better perspective.

last of all... in this day and age, I am thankful for the luck of having a job when those around me sometimes do not, as it allows my family to not be in hardship and me to give back where I can

I'd say I'm thankful for everything. Even the difficult or painful things we go through teach us and help us grow, so I think they deserve it as much as the things we enjoy and appreciate.

I'm thankful for many things. My family and friends, that I have a safe place to live, that I have a nice job, my education, that I found this site and how it has helped me, and so many other things.
