Funding ideas wanted!!

I'm not talking about the standard training, and standard content, but different content, or something like, right now, we send a payment for the ID, cert, letter, what about an year subscription, about $30 or $50 and include in the subscription this items

Don't know, also don't need to be all $xx all together, you can make 3, 6, payments, and thats all

I understand ... economy is really down, and not all the people can afford it, but the ones that CAN...


When you talk about money and church or religion, become a tedious talk...
thats true, but institutions need to live, and administration of institutions can not be free, because we all need to live,eat, and pay bills.

Why this need to be a one man dream, idea, or whatever, and he need to pay for it, if we all use it, (maybe terminology is not the right one, but the idea is there)

$1 is not too much... we all have $1 once a month... save it, and you can donate $12 yearly, or just $10... or even $5

this goes also for the young people ...

there is no obligation, but... why we don't do this?

Let me state again for the record that TOTJO does not charge for membership and has no intention of doing so.

On the subject of donations, if every one of the members who logged on during the past year gave just 1 dollar, we could afford to run the site for just over 4 years! Out of 3704 members, less than 10 have given any money in the past year.

We obviously can't rely on donations to keep the site running; that's why we need ideas.

why not get a palce at conventions and deplay the books of learning in bounded copies and sell them for XXXX amount. Everyone who is interested or and fan of Sci-Fi will be drawn to them and also the path. Just a suggestion

We're working on the TOTJO book \"The Way of Jediism\" at the moment. Online versions will be free but we hope to sell printed copies. There's not a lot of profit in books though

Is there maybe a P.O. Box I can mail a donation to? Paypal is giving me a hard time about using my card, telling me I can't use it. No idea why. I would really like to donate to help out.

about, pendants, pins, and any other metal cast, I check month ago, and the problem, is nobody create a die to cast for free.

So the problem creating pins, pendants, or any other metal item, is the first time you need to invest.. ( even when they say the die is free, is not)

I have some info if someone like it...
but like I say, someone need to invest money and then put it on sale,
so is not something easy.

The book... don't know, who is working with it, but is not a bad idea, to have it ready for the same time, than the release of the new edition movies..., ( associated tags do a great job over the internet) so people looking for the movies, can find also the book..., just ideas...
