Connected to the Force.
Some years ago during meditation I had what you may want to call an epiphany.
For along time I followed what is commonly described as a Pagan path, along the lines of druidry, which is the native religion of some of my ancestors.
The most common way to commune with our gods was the use of what is commonly known as “transcendental meditation”, or trance.
During the trance you undertake a journey , often to your place of power or temple, and from that point you commune with deity and ancestors, questions are answered and problems solved, this is a common form of journey to anyone with knowledge of shamanistic practices, Transcendental meditation is common to many eastern philosophies and religions also.
On one occasion a few years ago I was due to undertake a “trance” working yet felt at the time I wanted to journey of this plane of existence and not ethereal.
A clear night and a meditation beneath the stars, I lay on my back and looked to the heavens, moments later and BANG there it was, a feeling of absolute connectivity ,I am god, god is me, anything and everything is possible.
I could at that moment sense the world, there is no space where we perceive space there is stuff, here we call that stuff the force, and there is more force in the chair you sit on than there s chair, more in you than is actually you.
Looking at the sky I could see the living force pulsing through it like electrical signals across a network, actually see life and thought moving through the ether, (wide awake and I have to add, drug free, I do not advocate the use of drugs).
What a fantastic experience , it truly changed the way I saw the world, I feel my pagan heritage gave me access to this place, however I also knew at that point that all religion is a question of personal perspectives and there is no right or wrong.
From that moment I could see that I had to flow with the world, I had to take gentle steps as I could relate to the theories of chaos, I had to consider that anything I may do could adversely effect anything else or indeed everything else(extreme scenario).
The only sometimes unwelcome side effect of this epiphany is the constant empathic feelings I get, if I see bullying or injustice, disaster and tyranny, it actually makes me sick to the pit of my stomach, when someone is hurt I feel it.
The bonus is of course the opposite of this, where there is love, hope and joy I can have my fill of that as well.
I guess my roots are still earthy pagan ones, however my path is more Jedi than it was before, I used to tell people I was a Jedi well before I realised that this is what I was becoming , and well before I knew you guys existed.
We are all on that path here I would like to hear other peoples experience of what bought you all here.
May the living force be with you all.
