hello all! I'm back! i hope you've all missed me as i have you.

well where the heck was i?

let me tell you, it begins around early december when my job lost me or i it. If anyone knows anything about telephone tech support they know often they shut down and send it all to pakistan or durka durkastan or wherever it is that the guy your talking to has no idea what you're saying or you him.
That always sucks. and if anyone is fammiliar with the utah job market you know why it sucks worse. especially when you are in that grey area of alot of manager and impressive resume but no masters degree or anything to show for it. too much for a 7-11 job or fast food but not enough for many office jobs.
but that's another post!

My kids have had a hard year. They needed a bit of magic from santa- they will not go without- not this year. not with the trauma they have had. so what am i to do? well I donated plasma till i was spitting out dust. but that just handled the bills. I shut down my cell phone for a while. my better half has one and her child support is that. so i sold all my video games and vido game systems. anyone who knows what a video game to a dork is you know it's like selling your heart. but that didn't do much. I even sold one of my sabers. one of the \"my collection is not for sale\" lightsabers to a seedy neibor for one third what it was worth. but it almost did christmas. i donated and sold and borrowed everything i could. there was just one thing left to sacrifice.
off to the pawn shop went my computer. There wasn't alot under the tree for the kids, it's not about the presents but santa pulled off the magic he needed to. santa made sure there was something special under the tree for all the kids. under the tree for me was the fact that the kids will never know, but i did what i had to to be a dad. so i got the best present.

Things are better now, i've managed to do some freelance art work (my artistic background payed off) and tech work. still looking for a job, but not hurting for money so much. got my computer back, my cell will be on soon, and will soon upgrade to a ps3 (hopefully).
What did i learn? i learned that there is something more important than what you give than the item. it's what you gave to give. and although it seems the like the worst timing it may not be. i needed to be home to take care of my better half after her second biposy, and take care of my mom after her total knee. And although i'm poor i'm actually doing what i like... i'm making money off painting, and doing a few re-loads and set ups a week.

so sorry for the abscense but i'm sure now you know why you can find it forgivable.
