Jedi Shadows

An idea that was proposed by Master Daniel intrigued me. The idea of \"Jedi Shadows\". Typically the \"secret-police\" of the order, stealthy Jedi, who basically work as secret police. I like the idea, and hope that the temple would adopt the idea. Master Daniel is a very smart person, and his ideas, I believe, should be considered. If anyone would like to help Master Daniel and I bring such ideas like this, then feel free to contact either of us. As far as Jedi Shadows go, I would like to know how others feel about adopting this idea. I like the idea because stealth is a strong skill of mine, and I would like to be a Jedi Shadow so that I might put my stealth skills to good use. I also have some good \"detective\" skills, as well as interogation skills.

You know when people mention secret police, I think on history of the Gestapho, KGB, etc... each one of these secret police orgainizations were created to help the people supposedly. However they did not turn out to be so.

Jedi do not hide things in secret it is open to discuss.

We certainly do not need anything secret here it would only result in more misunderstanding and problems.

However there are many shadow jedi in There has been from the start, going by the term, shadow or gray. Seek one out, they may be willing to share a few thoughts.

Whilst I understand you may not be impressed by br Firewolf's response (too which I 100% agree and would have worded it no differently) I respectfully ask you to be mindful of responses.

Secret police... what are we looking for exactly?

It seems unnecesary to have a police system on a website, especially where there is a crime rate of 0. this said, I am still open to the idea if you can present a need for it.

I agree with Triforce that I personally do not see the reason for having a secret police force, however I would be willing to read/hear any propositions. I would be most interested in knowing what exactly the duties of this force would entail and how the members would be chosen.

hmmm.....one day perhaps when the temple is big enough to need policing as any large body needs it. but not now particularly at the moment...but perhaps we should lay the groundwork for something Like it....and of course....A better name than Jedi Shadows, would probably far more PR friendly,am I right? I mean, Jedi Shadows, sounds plain Ominous.
...I believe that the Fictional Jedi had something similar to this....they called them Jedi Watchmen I think, I like that, sounds better. the term would be of course gender neutral and everyone would know they exist. what would be the point? well, many possible reasons, and it's better to take precautions now and place the safeguards in place before something happens (if it ever does) that's the point int taking cues from the fiction, the characters learn things the hard way so we don't have to! The office of the SAA and the office of Marshal are in place and currently perform this function.
