OK, as many of you may know, I have had a custom sabre built for me, the sabresmith (Daren) has, I think, VERY kindly offered to build a run of TOTJO only sabres, ie a sabre design for members of our temple only... here is the email...

I am very pleased it will get some proper use, it should outshine everything else.

DIY kits, the glue work is epoxy Araldite for the blade tip. Not to tricky to do.

Yes please for the picture, I am planning an outfit myself but just too busy. I don't even have my own saber.

The Apprentice are nice and tough, not as bright as yours though. I think the FX board overdrives the leds a little hence they are brighter.

One thing that may interest you and the Order, we are having a production run of 3w low cost sabers made. Adult and junior sizes, same price. They will be a basic plain angle cut hilt about 10\" long, a simple on/off switch, bung end cap, 4aaa battery and a new 2mm thick walled blade for tough combat. The main thing is we are getting them anodised in a range of colours, black, red,blue.gold. We expect these to retail at 45.00.

With a little design change we could commission an exclusive saber for your order, you know a special colour, or banding to signify rank and position for your initiates. we can offer a wholesale price on a fairly small quantity.

As Promised, pictures of my sabre by same guy, I took these pics, there are different to the ones in my profile and journal, just to give an idea of the quality were talking about.

The blade shown here is of the normal thickness ie light dueliing, he does do a thicker blade which reduces the brightness and is heavier in the hand (i prefer the feel personally) the brightness reduction is in my opinion only slight, in some ways its better as it seems to be a crisper glow.
