Just a thought was created by
Have you ever found yourself waiting for something? No one told you to, you're not even quite sure what it is. How can you look for something when you don't even know exactly what it is you're looking for? You just have this feeling that, whatever it is, when it comes your way, you'll know what it is. You just have to be patient and wait for it.
I'm not exactly sure where it is I'm going with this thought, but there it is. I thought I'd just throw it out there. My thought process confuses me sometimes.

I didn't mean for it to come out like I'm looking for something personally at the moment, but more the idea of it. I have before, but I'm not currently. It was the idea of the feeling and how did others respond to it if they felt it at all. Does that make more sense?

Recommended listening: \"The River of Dreams\" by Billy Joel.
I have had many feelings that something's missing in my life, often with little understanding what it is...
I do often find myself looking to answers for many questions I have (very few I've talked to seem qualified to answer them), and still other times, I find myself seeking answers without knowing the questions.
This is, of course, folly. I believe many deep questions can be answered by the voice within, unfortunately... when I ask myself vague questions, I get vague answers.
Why? (Because.)
Okay, scratch that... What is the meaning of life? (To live.)
Elaborate please? (Let it sink in, genius.)
Interestingly enough, it is often in the most vague questions AND ANSWERS that we find great wisdom. I could go on a whole rant about the meaning of life one, but I've done it previously, and it would make this post way too long.
All I can suggest is - if you find yourself waiting for something with no explanation why, try waiting and see if something comes along. The Force works in mysterious ways.

In my experience, it is far better better to appreciate what YOU KNOW you have than to wonder about what YOU COULD have or even worse WHAT YOU WANT.
By appreciation of the little things you have, not necessarily materialistic, but things such as family, friends, etc, even just the wonders of the world about you, one cannot be disappointed and thereby any little extras that happen to drop before your feet are all bonuses.
This to me is incorporated by one of the Jedi core principals of living for the now, dealing with the here and now and not looking back and feling regret or looking too far forward to a time that is not ours yet.
Hopes, dreams, ambitions etc are fine... as per usual though, as long as they are all within reason, and do not become unhealthy obsessions.
I think many of us have had the 'empty' feeling at some point, the cause of the feeling is for the individual to discover through analysing oneself through meditation or whatever suits you, some peolpe swear by the list method where you write down what you percieve to be alll the good things in and around your life, and then the same for the bad.
I have found not with myself necessarily, but perhaps this has been the case in the past, that the empty feeling can be triggered by various degrees of jealousy, ie 'how come xyz has a partner n I dont' (one of many examples one could use)
This is why a degree of emotion is import, negative emotions cn be a slippery slope if left uncheck. It is natural to feel such emotions, no one is saying we should block them utterly, as this will only cause you to blow your own fuses with frustration. What is needed is to accept the feeling, acknowledge the feeling, then think about the source/cause of the feeling and work to find a way in yourself of dealing with it in a positive way.
The fact of the matter really is this (old saying coming up)
GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT.
And they usually do at the most unexpected times and placs.

In my life time I have come to experience how things work out in some way at some time. When you wait for it it never seems to come. All that there has been left to do is BELIEVE and TRUST. The universe will only answer your call if you really spell out what you want.
