This sharing inspired by something Proteus mentioned in another post.

I very much enjoyed this, especially the actual triangle as a visual aid. Thank you for sharing it. I know I'll be keeping it in mind during my future interactions.

(Classic Starting Gate Rescuer here. Lol)

I was recently introduced to this by Kyrin. It was an enlightening read for me, and I am definitely a rescuer. It is a good way to explore our own behaviors and interactions in the forums here.

If I would have to make a bet, I would say that the "Jedi" label is probably most attractive to those who are SG Rescuers. I was able to spot myself there as well.

That said, and if I'm reading the theory correctly (as I have no formal training), no one is exclusively one of the points of the triangle at all times. The underlying interaction with the world is one of taking things personally (shit happens to me) rather than (shit happens), and then how we interact with that fact shapes which one of the points in the triangle we behave as at any given moment (why does this happen to me - Victim), (why does this happen to him, I will save him - Rescuer), (why does this happen to me, I will show him - Persecutor).

There is another triangle in which these positions, minus the blame-life game, takes us to a "higher" version, in which we can affect change. The Victim becomes the Creator, the Rescuer becomes the Coach, and the Persecutor becomes the Challenger.

Yeah, she is awesome like that :)

P.S: I want to give due credit to Raven at Force Academy for introducing me to this topic.
