AMA, Wescli Wardest

Most of you have seen me around and at least know me by name.

I am Wescli Wardest (Clint West) and have been a member since 2011.

During that time I have helped out in a varying degree of roles and duties from Intake Officer to Council member. I have befriended some and I’m sure I have rubbed some the wrong way. And if there is anything you might like to ask me, go for it.:laugh:

I will answer as honestly and completely as possible.

How do you feel today Wes ?

If you could change one thing about TOTJO, what would you change and why?

How do I feel?

In a nut shell, tired but well. My daughter, god-daughter and wife went on a mini vacation this weekend. It was a lot of fun! But it just about wore me out. LOL

How do I feel emotionally or spiritually, if that is what was meant or hoped to be included…
Pretty good. Vacations, time away, always helps me to center and spending time with loved ones is always awesome. We saw some interesting things, like dinosaur foot prints (at Dinosaur Valley) and scores of animals one might never see when we went through the wildlife preserve down the road (Fossil Ridge). There as a nice rain last night and things seem pretty good.
There are of course things of concern I learn about when friends have loved ones going through difficult times. And my heart and prayers of out to them. But these are obstacle life throws at us we must overcome on our journeys. And having people support you during those difficult times is always a help.

So over all, I feel pretty good.

If I could change one thing about TotJO, what would it be and why?

Nothing.
I do not know what is best for everyone. I am not the grand master of all knowledge. Nor am I certified to decide what is best for others. TotJO needs to find her own way. And sometimes that is a difficult and painful path. And the members need to remember why they are here and what it is they are looking for.

I would hope that it is not for some guru to solve the issues in their lives but rather come to a better understanding and explore how the spiritual aspects intertwine with the physical; and at some point find the balance they seek and harmony of existence. But for each person that is different and they may not even be aware of what it is they are looking for.

So I would change nothing. But allow needed change to slowly develop as the temple evolved to suit the needs of her members.

we are often unaware of the good impact we make on people. so when they tell us it can often lead to surprise and the occasional blushing. LOL I found that out lol

Tired and well sounds pretty good indeed and aside from the fact that people will always hurt and all we can do is be there for them , that is pretty awesome , glad to hear it

Here's one for ya, since this is the easiest question for me to come up with and the one I'm most curious about:

If you could live anywhere for a year - baring the country which you currently live, were born, and any additional countries you've already lived in (including deployments) - where would you live, why would you live there, and what would you do while you were there (doesn't necessarily mean job)?
