Luke has come out with a Press statement

I have been saying for decades that true balance will only be brought to the force through the eradication of both the Sith and the Jedi. The prophesy is being fulfilled!

Then there's this:

Kylo's shattered helmet is very intriguing. I also find it interesting that the saber on the poster goes from blue to red. Hmmmm.....

Ok, time to get a bit crazy with these releases. Notice both Luke and Rey's stances from their respective posters. Quite similar, but also how the blade flares both up but also to the sides. Now, int he cross section we see (in LAST JEDI) Luke takes up how whole section of the poster, whereas Kylo is set a bit lower and smaller.

Notice how in the New Hope poster Vader's helm takes up a large section to the left of the blade (aka Luke's half) and the lower, smaller section on the right side of the blade (Kylo's half)?

Perhaps this means there is still a lot of Vader in Luke?

Or perhaps I'm just reading too much into this?



Perhaps the latter, but whatever.

I'm thinking along the same lines, Arisaig. My first impression was that the poster hints at the redemption of Kylo Ren (hence the shattered helmet in the trailer, the cross saber appearing to be blue, and Kylo appearing without the mask on) and the emerging darkness of Luke. Rey is caught in between, trying to understand the hero she thought Luke would be but isn't, and the younger Skywalker (Ben Solo) who may or may not come back to the light. Her destiny lies in the "balance", and either way she goes would be the "end of the Jedi".

Of course, this is all wild speculation on my part, but I still think Snoke is actually Mace Windu so take it for what it's worth. :laugh:
