The Force Awakens

I was a lucky one today. I got to go to Star Wars on its opening day, for free! I just got out of the movie.

I thought it was incredibly well done. In my opinion, it definitely paid homage to the original Trilogy (Ep. 4-6).

I will see it again. :woohoo:

Saw it last night in IMAX. It was pretty good. It's not quite the original trilogy to me, but much better than the preqs. I think it was a little too much of an homage, overly lighthearted, and bit jumbled (Phasma and Poe got lost in the mix). That didn't stop me from enjoy it though and I can't wait for Rouge One and the rest.

I saw it Thursday night, which was technically the night prior to its official release (I didn't realize that was a thing they did). I'm also going to see it with my family on Christmas Eve Day.

Got tickets for the first showing in the morning. My wife has been doing a show at the local theater, so tomorrow is the first time we can all get free to see it together. I have been lucky so far to remain mostly spoiler-free.
