Is "jedi" an official religion? Are there any jedi in Portugal?

Yes, it's an official religion. As a Minister, for instance, I can perform a Jedi wedding. Lightsabers are not mandatory, mind you, but appreciated.

I have no idea how many Jedi are in Portugal. Perhaps, you are the first.

Are you in Portugal?

Many places, like the U.S., where we are based, do not have 'official' religions, or 'officially recognized' religions...

You would have to check with whoever regulates that in your country...

What "world" entity do we apply to to get this?

...

I'm just messing with you... lol...

Jediism is a religion to some, and not others....

It is jot accepted in the "main stream", but does that make it any less serious, official, or valid?

It was made official by the ruler...

Same goes for "officially recognized" religions now...

If you country doesn't recognize it, then it's not "official".. hence the word "official", lol...

But, we don't need something recognized to be "valid" for ourselves, do we?
