Any suggestions would be great. I want to incorporate this awareness in my daily life through practice.

Well, you would need to be a little more specific.

For me there are varying levels of meditation. Mindful Meditation, at least to me, is focusing the mind to make it sharper and more aware of the Force. You cannot feel the Force with just your mind alone, but it does need to be trained to be able to feel it.

I usually start people, whom I am training to meditate and focus, off with something simple. Like finding a semi precious stone (amethyst, quartz, apache tear, etc) and focusing on the stone. Learn everything there is to know about the stone. The size, shape, smoothness, scratches, dings, indentations, etc. Once you believe you know everything there is to know about the stone, start your meditation. Build that stone in your mind. Use your minds eye to view the stone and make it there. Add every aspect about the stone that you are aware of.

Once you can make a perfect copy of the stone, then start bending and contorting the stone in your mind. For added focus, I usually instruct people to picture the stone becoming a liquid puddle at their feet. Use your mind to solidify the puddle. Make it solid enough to stand on without it breaking. If it breaks, just reform it and keep doing it until you can stand on it without it breaking. Then slowly lift yourself off the ground with it. Again, it may break and have to be reformed. When you are able to levitate yourself on the stone platform and hold it steady, then your mind has become more focused. You can start doing more with it. Make it bigger, make it smaller. Create more of them and slowly walk across them. You can use them and work with the force. Pulling, pushing, etc.

If you would like to know more or would like to get some guided meditations, I would be happy to help you.

I usually employ a candles visualization, gaze at it for five minutes then reproduce it perfectly in your mind's eye. First try for five or ten minutes, extending the duration about five minutes every time you can achieve the previous. Keep count how many times the mind wanders...

I think mindfullness is nothing more than being fully commitedand focused to what you are doing in the present time, no matter what it is your doing, with no thoughts of the past or future drifting into you mind. You do your best when not distracted by random thoughts.

I should be more specific. Al of these are excellent suggestions and my list of meditations and resources grows, so I thank you. What I mean is, I want to be able to pay attention to all of my senses instead of relying on eyesight so much. I've noticed I can feel things like the heat of a person or the air pressure change. I can taste rain in the air, or smell things about people. Vibrations in the ground tickle my eardrums. I want to experience things like these simultaneously and much more often.

I can only pay attention to one thing at a time though I feel many things at once.
