Artists here ?
I know that we are many artists here, musicians, painters, dancers, singers, songwriters, etc... and I suggest that we let the others know our passion (I know, there's no passion, but hey).
So, I go first :
I'm a musician. I play piano since the age of 6. The 8 first years were quite difficult. Actually, my mother wanted me to learn classical piano. After that, I stopped playing and it's only a few years later that I re-discovered my intrument (hey, I can play "let it be" if I want to !). When I was 21, i went to a musical school (the CMCN in Nancy, France). After that, I started a "career" in music, playing in 4 or 5 bands at the same time, discovering different styles. I had a recording studio, and that had me financially terminated. :S
I'm better at playing music than in running a business !
For some years now, I play with some good friends as a hobby, and we are exploring the musical world of Frank Zappa. We plan to make our band a bit more professional in the future.

I foul up some paper and sometimes someone reads it ....
I puke my arrogance and folly into print and sometimes someone gets to laugh or cry about it ; sometimes both ....
I guess that between the lines, the sheets and the candle and the star --
-- that makes me a poète.
Or a priest ....

Unfortunately, random things keep me from doing things I love... including playing Santur.

Are these your own designs, planets, and ships? Could you PM/message me with what you charge for original artwork in this genre? I am looking for originals for book covers.

I enjoy playing but also listening to a wide variety of music. I think most artists are also good readers/listeners/feelers and good imitators so that they can build on their previous experiences to create new works.. I'd like to create more classical music that I enjoy the sound of (none of this contemporary moo, "Stun the Audience" with bizarre extremes or dynamics and dissonances)
I'm also a drawer of doodles for the pure pleasure of making patterns with straight lines (making curves out of several sometimes), and I write the occasional sentence of something, bad poetry, but it has the feeling at least to me of *trying* to be poetry,
