(14:06:35) Cabur_Senaar: We offer our thanks for the insight that springs from the Force as we seek to apply it to our lives.
(14:06:58) Cabur_Senaar: As beings of light we connect with our brothers and sisters in the Universal Moment and as beings of flesh and bone our footsteps walk this Earth and echo in time.

As servants of the people, Ministers are to shepherd them on their respective paths and to guide them to self-discovery and understanding. With their fellow Ministers, they are to sustain the community of the faithful by the ministry of doctrine and guidance, that we all may grow into the fullness of the Force and better understand ourselves.

(14:10:05) JLSpinner: I am Joseph L. Spinner, Knight of Jediism. Known as JLSpinner.
(14:10:15) Cabur_Senaar: Are you prepared to accept the responsibilities of the role of Ordained Minister of Jediism on this day?
(14:10:29) JLSpinner: Yes I am.
(14:10:39) Cabur_Senaar: Will the Presenting Minister please step forward and announce herself.
(14:10:44) Rosalyn_J: I am Rosalyn J, Senior Knight and Pastor of the Temple of the Jedi Order
(14:11:01) Cabur_Senaar: Has the Candidate completed all of the required Clerical training as prescribed by the Temple of the Jedi Order?
(14:11:06) Rosalyn_J: Yes
(14:11:21) Cabur_Senaar: Does the Candidate fulfill the requirements according to their rank at the Temple of the Jedi Order, including all necessary Oaths or Vows?
(14:11:29) Rosalyn_J: Yes
(14:11:55) Cabur_Senaar: Has the Candidate fulfilled all of the requirements for Ordination as prescribed by the Temple of the Jedi Order?
(14:12:01) Rosalyn_J: Yes
(14:12:14) Cabur_Senaar: Is the Candidate under any judicial ban that would prevent this Ordination at this time?
(14:12:18) Rosalyn_J: No
(14:12:31) Cabur_Senaar: And does this Ordination have the approval of the Council of the Temple of the Jedi Order?
(14:12:41) Rosalyn_J: Yes, it does
(14:12:49) Cabur_Senaar: Thank you.
(14:13:04) Cabur_Senaar: Ministers are called to be servants among the people. They are to be messengers, watchmen and stewards of the Church. They are to teach and to admonish, to nourish and to support, and to guide the people through the confusions of life, that they may grow in knowledge and wisdom of the Force.
(14:13:28) Cabur_Senaar: As Jedi they are to protect the peace and defend the weak. As Ministers they are to uplift the spirit through the guidance of the Doctrine and the wisdom of the Force. With the qualities of compassion, understanding, tolerance and acceptance, they are to open their arms to embrace the community and to provide counsel in times of need.
(14:13:52) Cabur_Senaar: They are to minister to the sick and prepare those who are transitioning from this world and back to the Force, supporting all those who are affected by such changes. Standing together with their brothers and sisters, they are to provide light through the darkness, that the whole Church may be built up in unity and faith.
(14:14:15) Cabur_Senaar: In addition to this, Ordination is a commitment for life. It can only be rescinded in the most severe of circumstances as this is a contract between the Minister and the Force, a dedication to serving the people through the Doctrine and the guidance of the Force. This promise is written on the soul and strengthens every fiber of the spirit; as such it is not to be taken lightly and without due consideration.
(14:14:47) Cabur_Senaar: Joseph L. Spinner, Will you on this day devote yourself to the care and the needs of the people as an Ordained Minister of Jediism?
(14:14:56) JLSpinner: I will.
(14:15:09) Cabur_Senaar: Will you faithfully minister the Doctrine of this church, by which our community may flourish in their faith?
(14:15:16) JLSpinner: I will.
(14:15:30) Cabur_Senaar: Will you, reconciled to your eternal existence in the Force, strive to be an instrument of peace in the Temple and in the world?
(14:15:41) JLSpinner: I will.
(14:15:52) Cabur_Senaar: Will you stand shoulder to shoulder with your fellow Ministers in upholding the spirits of the people and guiding them to their highest potential?
(14:16:00) JLSpinner: I will.
(14:16:15) Cabur_Senaar: And will you strive to further your own self, to be the best that you can be and to allow your light to shine forth as inspiration to others that may follow?

(14:17:11) Cabur_Senaar: Know that you will always be supported by your fellow Ministers, by the Temple itself and by your own faith in the guidance of the Force. With this in mind, it is with great pleasure that I ordain you as a Minister and Deacon of Jediism and state that you shall henceforth be known as Rev. Joseph L. Spinner, OCP. (14:19:13) JLSpinner: I am both humbled and honored today.
(14:19:22) JLSpinner: It is an honor to be able to give back to the Temple and to work along side some of the nicest people I've ever met.
(14:19:46) JLSpinner: I am humbled by the service this will require.
(14:19:59) JLSpinner: It is through service than we find our purpose and it is through love than we find peace and joy.
(14:20:27) JLSpinner: When we serve we reaffirm our connection with the rest of the world.
(14:20:48) JLSpinner: When you sacrifice for something, you care more. You have become invested.
(14:21:07) JLSpinner: With service you invest in love, and spreading comfort and joy.
(14:21:29) JLSpinner: That, my friends, is a beautiful thing.
(14:21:50) JLSpinner: As a Minister I tried to encourage others and bring peace. I checked in on some when I could see something was wrong. For a while I was an accountability partner.
(14:22:13) JLSpinner: With this Ordination brings the Oath of Confidence. While performing the duties of my position I cannot divulge what you say to me within the confines of the law.
(14:22:40) JLSpinner: While thinking about this Oath I realized the opportunity and the lesson here.
(14:23:06) JLSpinner: In this position those I speak with can lower their defenses. They dont have to hide.
(14:23:25) JLSpinner: What they say never passes beyond me. They can be honest to the core.
(14:23:52) JLSpinner: How often do we get to talk about our deepest fears or shame? How much do we repress in the life of a Jedi?
(14:24:23) JLSpinner: When we are able to willingly be this vulnerable, we have the chance to heal.
(14:24:49) JLSpinner: When we can open our eyes and take notice that we don't have to be so guarded.
(14:25:17) JLSpinner: In this experience, we are equal. We have our own burdens that we carry in secret.
(14:25:41) JLSpinner: Sometimes we all struggle so hard to seem strong and good, when inside we're tired. And scared.
(14:26:05) JLSpinner: We can let go of the struggle and know that we are not less than human. We are the same.
(14:26:22) JLSpinner: This is a chance for peace. And I get to be a part of that.
(14:26:34) JLSpinner: And I invite you all as well.

(14:26:55) JLSpinner: If you need to talk, cry, scream, or shout. I'm here.

(14:29:21) JLSpinner: You don't have to travel far to find a need if you walk with love and service in mind.
(14:29:36) JLSpinner: Imagine the feeling of coming home after working 12 hours to find that someone anonomous raked the thousands of leaves the autumn winds left for you.
(14:29:49) JLSpinner: Imagine the possibilities of our actions.
(14:30:03) JLSpinner: Our family here is capable of so much good.
(14:30:14) JLSpinner: Let us live with a heart and mind of service.
