I made it out of a few pipe parts I bought at a local hardware store then put it together and customized it with other materials and markers I had laying around the house. I used some metallic tape as well to keep it strong but unfortunately it gave it a weird look. Either way I'm still pretty proud of it as it only took me about an hour to craft and with minimal materials. Thanks for the interest!!!

Does it function or is it more of a prop-esque item?

I wish it worked! I put a prop kyber crystal I got from disney land on the inside but sadly it's just a prop... I'm worried that I'd end up accidentally killing myself if I tried to build a functioning one.

I was looking to buy one of those as well but in all honesty I don't have the money. It's alright though because I found that there's a certain sense of accomplishment, pride and attachment that comes from customizing/building your own.
