hauppauge tv device

I am attempt to install a Hauppauge TV viewer and have to questions:

1.) I get a picture but no sound with over the air tv stations

2.) What has to be done to enable viewing channels from a spectrum (charter) cable box

Please Help.

I'd recommend asking the people that sold you the TV viewer. ;p
