I do not know if this was already a topic for I have not been here in a while, but I have gotten multiple messages from someone named laura and sgtlaura. This person asks you to email them and they give a wonderous story of being in Afganistan and having around 3.5 million dollars that they need someone to take care of. In doing so, they will give you 20%.

I have seen the like before and it is a pathetic scam at best but I do understand there are some who are not as understanding of the human condition and will fall pray to this. I hope I can help stop that before it happens but if not, oh well. Though I do have a golden bridge I would like to sell that person. :woohoo:

If you ever get these... send Jestor a PM and he'll block them :)

It won't let me have a blank signature ...

FYI - and I admit this is a tangent, but I'd like to point out that Nigeria has lots of princes. I went to had two for co-workers. It doesn't really matter much because in Nigeria they have these people called king-makers and they pretty much separate important individuals from the average prince. I say all that to say that the majority of representations of princes I see in jokes about Nigerian prince scams are grossly ill-informed. My favorite is the one of a small boy who passes a note and it's one of the Nigerian prince scams. The irony is that in real life a small boy from Nigerian studying here in America very well could be a prince.
