Edit: having read some of the comments below, I'd just like to say that I know next to nothing about what is going on in American politics at the moment - I enjoyed this video because the concept made me laugh, rather than because I'm anti-Romney. I don't know who he is so I can't be against him! As Hadi says below, I don't think that this video was intended to make a political statement - just to make you laugh at the clever editing, pretty much!

I cannot stand political things. When that Kony thing started going around here it was almost as if an invisible dam was broken and infiltrated my safe haven (the Temple its self). I vote we leave these things to Facebook or whatever else. Please?! lol

Although politics is an extremely important part of our lives, and I enjoy a political debate with others, I prefer watching videos that are not pieced together for propaganda.

If you want to make a political statement, please use full context videos and FACTS.

Mitt Romney is not by far the best choice, but neither is what we got.

Use your brains and listen to the facts...not the hype!

Do not choose by political party but by the right choice for strong, safe, and free America.

I believe that Reliah has a point in that there should be a thread for political debate. This way if a member chooses not to participate in political debate or is offended by integration of "Church and State", they may choose not to enter that thread.

I think some of y'all read a little too much into this. This is the humor part of the forums, and this was a satirical video. I don't think any sort of political points were intended here, lol.

Just a quick note here, are you sure you cannot still apply for an absentee ballot, Darren?

To Darren: It is not too late quite yet to apply for your absentee ballot for november. Here in Japan, we have been having a push for ballots and mine was sent in ages ago. All I know for certain is that Each state is different.
For example:
Ohio January 1 of the election year Received by noon on the Saturday before the election Postmarked the day BEFORE the election and received 10 days after the election.

Some states seem to follow this dynamic but others vary from state to state. So check with your local regulations and you will be fine. If you missed the cut off date: Sorry to hear that.

I think this calls for a little emotional relaxation. As has been said, this was a post in humor and not an attempt to begin a debate. I believe we have a news forum for that stuff. Personally, this video made me laugh. It was a parody from another song and Romney has been known to flip-flop as have hundreds of politicians. This just worked well rhythmically and I think it was fabulous. Thanks for sharing.
