Why yes, the prequel Jedi were psychopathic, most likely. ;)

Bahahaha, that was funny. :P

I think the majority of their points came from the simple fact that the prequel movies were just plain horribly written though.

i think the author is more interested in churning out something that people will read than legitimate social or philosophical discourse

Hence why I posted it in the humor forum. No need for social or philosophical discourse. :P

Blasphemy!!!
Though;
It's explained to viewers that The Force gives "power over the weak-minded." Apparently, being stupid in the Star Wars universe is a serious enough crime that your free will can be taken from you by some dick wizard.

I'd say 'weak' minded did not mean stupid, it meant acting against the current, the flow of the Force. This could then weaken a persons resolve to continued action, and the Jedi being Force folk can just splash the Force stream on them a bit which temporarily blinds them to their own stationary little whirlpool and for a minute flow 'with' the Force..... which of course happens to coincide with the Jedi's decision making. In the movies.

I tend to ignore the prequels so most of what they said was irrelevant to me. I have always kind of agreed with the bit about the mind trick though.

It was a funny read though. :cheer:

Truth. And sexist.

On the bright side, the racism and sexism reminds me that the movies shouldn't be the be all and end all.

Also, and I know this was already covered, the casual removal of limbs is real messed up.

I said early in my time here, that they were called 'rebels', just like we refer to the 'rebels' in South America or any other country...

The majority of people in the fiction are living their day-to-day lives...

Just as we are, but they are critical of their government, but not enough to join the 'rebel alliance'...

Here in the US, we have many 'rebel alliances'...

Animal Cruelty, Gay rights, non-Traditional religions, Atheists, Anti-TV people, anti fast food people....

Anyone going against the governmental ideas or stances, could be seen in this light...

Ive maintained that the Empire was not evil, only 'the machine' of government...

Although, being at odds with the views and policies, one could easily surmise they were evil, lol...

On walk-about...

Sith ain't Evil...
Jedi ain't Saints....

It is funny if taken completely out of context but the article doesn't seem like it's written by someone with much knowledge of that universe or much ability to reason.
