How Mercury Causes Brain Neuron Degeneration - University Of Calgary
I don't think this is a repost of a locked thread, per se. However I personally find it somewhat inflammatory, as there is probably no one on earth who would argue that mercury, a heavy metal, is good for brains.
That said, if comments go south from here, this thread will be locked as well. We are Jedi. Bickering is unbecoming.

I didn't think so either till I met the guy who told me he had a masters degree and that mercury was a biologically necessary nutrient our bodies need, and the guy who wants more neurotoxins in his diet as it toughens him up, he spouted some nonsense about a buffalo theory of intelligence, where destroying the weak brain cells improves intelligence etc.
We got some brilliant people out there in internet land.

*sigh*
Sarcasm aside, I think I must apologize. I assumed there was more to you than this and that you weren't trolling. Evidently at least one of those assumptions is incorrect. I shall try and avoid judging people this prematurely again in the future. Thank you for that lesson...

Both are I believe.
"Since I do have a degree in human physoilogy I should say some things. Fun Facts, The Human Body actual has trace amounts of Hg (Mercury) in it and actually uses it in some Metabolic Pathways. Without Hg in the body you get Hyperuricemia."
"I WANT the neurotoxins"
I can't find the quote from the other person, it may have been a private message, but I do believe it was this forum.

Oh there most certainly is, it's just I am refusing to share it openly. You thought the vaccine thread became absurd, you should see how communities like this one would respond to anything else I am actually interested in. I know of one forum post on another forum that has been going since 2010, and is several hundred pages on the topic. There is more to me, not more I am willing to share openly with the wrong sorts of people.

"CBS K-EYE Medical Watch with Seema Mathur describes how two studies in the Journal of Pediatrics suggest that vaccines containing mercury preservatives "may actually be associated with improved behavior and mental performance."

Hilarious.
I also as a child had 3 mercury containing amalgam fillings. After learning about all the toxicity stuff I paid a good amount of money to have them removed. It's funny how before it goes into your teeth and after it is removed it is considered a dangerous, toxic substance but hey it's perfectly safe stuck in your mouth!

In response:
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21350943
activity of low doses of Thimerosal against isolated human and animal brain cells was found in all studies and is consistent with Hg (mercury) neurotoxicity
Thimerosal at concentrations relevant for infants' exposure (in vaccines) is toxic to cultured human-brain cells and to laboratory animals.
doses relevant to TCV (Thimerosal containing vaccines) exposure possess the potential to affect human neuro-development.

I already knew but I figured it'd be good reinforcement.
