Foreign language versions of the site

The French and Spanish versions are currently not working...

The translations are done ...

... now just the coding stuff.

I thought they worked before though?

Bonjour chers amis adeptes de La Force,

avez vous une idée de la date de retour de la traduction Française ?
J'avoue être plus à l'aise dans la langue de Molière, que dans celle de Shakespeare.
Toutefois la communauté anglophone étant très nombreuse, lire et traduire des pages en Anglais est presque un impératif, de plus le code ne dit-il pas "... il n'y a pas d'ignorance, il y a la connaissance..."
Je fais mes premiers pas dans les voies de la Force, si parmis vous certains maitrisants le Français voulaient m'accompagner, j'en serai ravi et honoré.
Par avance merci de vos réponses, que La Force soit avec vous.

Someone Know when the French translation of the site will be back ?
I confess it's easyer for me to whrite and read in the language of Molière, that of Shakespeare.
However the English community is very large, read and translate English pages is almost an imperative, more the code say "... there is no ignorance, there is knowledge .. . "
I make my first steps in the ways of the Force, if someone who talking French can help me in my journey, I will be delighted and honored.

The home page and doctrine are available in German, French and Spanish now. The FAQ is available in Spanish and German.

les livres sont la partie la plus difficile. Mais certains textes anciens, en particulier ceux qui ne sont plus couvrit par le copyright, sont disponibles sur l'Internet je crois.

Can I offer my professional translation services for free to Translate to Doctrine and Oath and everything to Portuguese, or will I have to wait to become a Knight to do so?

Almeida, thank you for your enthusiasm and your offer. I'm the one in charge of coordinating our translations. What I write here is valid for all who want to help with translations.

You don't need to be a knight to help with our translation efforts. However I ask you to get familiar with what we teach here. Often you can't translate a word exactly into another language. Then you need at least some basic understanding of the concepts behind it. I hope you understand that.
I started translating stuff into German when I finished the IP. We also have people who have been here for a while and not finished the IP but helped translating. A minimum of 3 months would be okay, too.
If you want to start translating things right away, please take your time with it. (Sometimes translation is the best way of understanding.)
We don't have Portuguese translations yet, so you'd be on your own for the time being.
Btw. we have Portuguese subtitles available for the Campbell videos.

To be honest, I'm a professional translator, and almost native-level in English, so reading/watching in English makes no difference for me. However, I started making some translations on my own of the Creed, that's something I love, and I'll probably do it for the Doctrine while I'm studying them, so whenever I finish up with the IP, I'll get back to you to be part of it.

I didn't know that you are a professional translator. It's very good in any case.
Also I'd ask you to contact MrBruno to coordinate your efforts. He's the one responsible for Portuguese translations.
