Changes to Login and User Dashboard
We are testing a change on the front page where Community Builder will start taking over the user dashboard and activity feed instead of EasySocial. EasySocial has been giving us some compatibility issues after the upgrade, so this is part of making the site more stable going forward.

Funny thing about it is ... focus on growth and you willl see it, focus long enough and you can anticipate it, anticipate long enough and you may begin to miss the very reason you chose growth in the first place. Strange thing it is .

This month I’ve taken a step back and looked at where I stand. (Inventory season for the Corp. world here in the states. ) Be smart and be wise and take examples from where they come often is my motto at times ... even at times, the business world.
See what ya got. Take some time. Look at your life. We can and we have the right to review our friends and our music and our books and our faith and our locations and our spirituality and what ever else we may need. It’s not that we are Jedi or smarter than every one else my friends ... truly it because we are human. To my practice being able to be Jedi is like having bread with every meal. Some days I like it - some days I love it - some days I have to make it.
A few things to think about this week my fellow Jedi.
May the Force be with y’all!

I was thinking
...NO act of selfless - compassion or kindness is ever small or insignificant...
I was under the idea at one time ,it was and I didn’t have time or I could never really make a difference with any of my actions or choices.
As I study and practice I’ve learned and not only witnessed but been many different parts in the exact opposite.
It’s my choice and focus to do such so if it’s not yours by all means - live on friend ! But ...
But if your like me , these type of acts I have found often find each other or other smaller acts of kindness. Togeather or alone, I’ve noticed times like these create some pretty wonderful moments in life - wether we are the giver or recover of kindness. Either way the world benefits from a single act of kindness ... so the question is - what can you do?
May the Force be with y’all !
May you find it as y’all seek it !

For those who choose to make
Compassion a focus -there is a bit of magic in this choice. Here’s what I mean. Somthing to think about his week.
There are so many different versions of compassion and so many different levels it’s almost crazy. When two acts of different kindness meet - there comes those days when it happens - we revive or we give kindness - along side another - and the effects are some times like a magic spell or a vortex being opened. I can’t really explain it nor do I want to at times. Compassion is the spiritual side for me at times . What can your version of compassion do when met with others? I hope this encourages you as a modern day Jeddist to continue the fight to continue the struggle to continue the path of compassion and selfless you have chosen. When Jedi meets Jedi - when love meets love when kindness and characters meet there’s no telling what can happen ! Force be with y’all!

Each of us has chosen to be a Jedi . We have identified ourselfs as Jedi. Often times I see even myself say - well I’m Jedi. This can be a very dangerous path to take in ones own path. ( well I’m Jedi - your dumb- ) This type of thought exist with manners - religion - truth- and pretty much every living type of idea we can claim for even the smallest of boasting reasons. It is natural. What is opposite is often the “I’m better than you” idea. It’s tough because ima say it - Jedi are smart. It’s hard to stay on the ground when some of us were born to fly.
Do what you can to stay - knightly or selfless or even just chill. It’s possible but it takes a bit of work. Force be ever with y’all as we seek serve and share - the Force.

How do we keep from getting too salty? As modern day Jeddist is it possible ? Is it possible to be too much of somthing? Most defiantly. One of my practices is to be aware of when this happens for me and to be ready to combat it- before it becomes a problem.
Some times adding a bit of salt is ... too much. Even a pinch. Somthing to think about Jedi this week.
May the Force be with y’all!

The bottle neck effect.
As Jedi - I want to encourage us to remember - Jedi teaching number 7
7. Jedi understand their limitations. We recognise, and take responsibility, for our failures and develop a level of modesty about them. We respect the right for others to disagree and understand that they themselves are not perfect.
Understanding limitations often leads to cultivation and in real worlds - often what we want and can do are two different things. To know our limit and abilities and not get - bogged down or take on too much or even the dreaded bottle neck effect can happen to any one. ( especially those who serve)
So, somthing to think about - Jedi teaching 7 says be carful and be aware because we can at times take on too much. Happy seeking my Jedi !

Are they ones you've placed on yourself? If so, are you accidentally selling yourself short? Are you holding yourself back?
Or are they ones placed on you by others? Why would one accept the judgement of ones own ability made by another person?

As Jedi we have reminders like codes- maxims- vows and all types of things. As a Jeddist - it’s not easy. I’m telling you temple - being a place of self reflect and self paced- it’s hard to connect in ceartain ways. Be aware. Be wise and by all means be Jedi !
May the Force continue to find you as we all seek it!

Finish the fight .
As an instructor , it was my joy and privilege to remind my students of this “sigil.”
I think we as Modern day Jeddist could profit from such reminders. At times we get busy and life gets full. We put things on hold and on the back burner and at times - well some times - we just forget or loose track of things. Totally natural . I’ve never forgotten a child at thenmall but I’ve left cell phones, diaper bags and even a wallet or two behind. So I say my Jedi - finish the fight! Find a few things ya need to complete and make them done. ( I know that’s not proper speech but ya get the idea.) Make a few things ... complete. Check a few boxes where ya can and finish the fight! May the Force continue to be with y’all as we all seek it. I know I’ll be finishing up a few things myself this month!

And as a fellow Jedi- you May be mine tomorrow -by our presence some times we are the only Jedi real life ever sees. you are certainly a breath of fresh air my friend. Keep in touch

Turning up the heat for a old chief like me means that all my prep is done and it time to put pot to heat. Simmering moments are gone and prep time is gone - no more peeling or cutting - it’s about time to serve! It’s almost time to eat! There’s a old saying in cooking circles - drop the pasta! It’s the final stage to a dish or two. During this time, I’ll ask my love or son to begin to set the table- let’s get plates- cups - ice - spoons forks knives - rags - you know the drill. Turning up the heat reminds me that there CAN be a moment in life where the hard work begins to come together. As life and our paths go -so much time and study and chats and discussions go on. There will be moments it seems a “freakin mess” on counters and tables and kitchens and sinks - that’s kinna part of it all- prep time can conclude to clean up and clean up can begin that moment when it’s time to turn the heat up and turn time and effort - into a meal and into something we can share and enjoy. Even better is when we realize his can happen as often as we like to plan it. Hungry ? Starving ? Need a snack? Tea or coffee - turn the heat up. May the Force be with y’all as we all seek it .

The difference between hidden and private.
Do we as Jedi have a difference? I’m a big voice on words and their meanings as well as their use. Do we have hidden things or private or is there no distinction ? Cultivation in our character and paths as well as life’s often means growing new things taking or replacing old ones and planting new things as well.
Two simple words yet - different glows. How do we use them if we do at all?
Got any other words you use like this with different values?
Force be with y’all this week as we all seek it ! May it find us in the seek!
