Creating a secret Cipher/Alphabet

Hi

I want to create a alphabet/cipher that I would learn to be able to write and read. It would probably have to be simple letter for letter substitution maybe having some correlation to the regular alphabet in the way the symbols look in order for it not to be to difficult for me to learn

Just wondering if anyone has ever done this has any tips.

I wonder how hard this would be I am guessing somewhat less difficult than learning a language as you dont have to learn phonetics or speak it.

It be cool to have my journals only readable by me.

I heard leonardo da vinci was able to write backwards maybe for this reason.

Do a web search, I'm sure ther eare LOTS of people who've done this. If you're just doing a simple one-for-one swap, it'd be easy. Just write out the alphabet, and start scribling whatever images you want to use under them.

When I was studying Japanese, I took the alphabet and put them on flash cards. Something you can do if that helps you.

and = bdn
meow = ówme
hello = ehmol
checks = hcksec
clients = diltsen
aardvark = rdárkva
abandoner = anabodóre
abandoners = babdnofsr

I think you could, with those 10 words, decode the entire code-language I made up when I was in middle school.

I just went looking, and could not find this simple dragon alphabet I stumbled on one time...

It went on the thoery that as dragons have three claws in front so this fellow had devised an alphabet of 'swipes' and dots...

! was 'a'

!! was 'b'

!!! was 'c'

I cant do the horizontal ones, cause Im on a keyboard, but it was very simple, and very cool...

i saved it on my old phone just for S&G's but now that phone is gone...

DaVince was also ambidextrous of sorts. He wrote backwards with the other hand.
You might start by looking at other alphabets that already exist in other countries and in the past. I have notes where I copied a lot of them. Though I am moving and pretty much everything I own is boxed up.

I can write backwards with my left hand and normal with my right...I can also read upside down, backwards, upside down and backwards, and from any other perspective...but yeah a quick web search should reveal what you seek

I have one taught to me by Darren Brown where I swap out these 10 letters for numbers

0 = O
1 = L
2 = n
3 = M
4 = H
5 = S
6 = G
7 = T
8 = B
9 = P


These go great for converting things in your mnemonic palace. For example I memorized my friends Credit Card PiNN by picturing Miss Garrison with his Body. Easy to remember so Miss Garrison translates to 3i55 6arrison and I'll never forget. Remember decks of cars is also pretty easy. A Spade could equal a 5. So the 5th of spade would be an SS so you could picture a German solider and a 4th of spades would be a SH so you could picture a SHark.
