One Month In!!

How is your New Years going?

Still on your diet? Still working out? Still off the cigarettes? Being more charitable? Being that overall, better you, you are hoping and looking for?

If so, congratulations! If not, don't give up!

Like we tell newer folks here at TOTJO, and tell each other constantly, take your time... It is not a race... It is good to set goals, just do not set unrealistic goals...

Yea, if you meet those goals quickly, won't you be happy!!

But will you make that goal?

Or, like so many, have you decided that since you won't hit your mark, then "just forget it!"

Take your time... Set small, realistic goals... One pound of weight lost each month... One lesson a week... One less cigarette a day... One less hot dog from the gas station (hint Jestor)... Maybe even one less profanity a day...

Remember, none if us are perfect... None of us are infallible... All you can do, is do your best...

This is not an excuse... Look in the mirror, be honest... Have you really gave it your best effort (one less hot dog Jestor)? Or have you justified it with, "well, it is just a hot dog..."

Constant vigilance, constant effort....

Just as getting "rusty" at a physical exercise from lack of practice, the same can be said for any endeavor...

Practice constantly, stay the course...
