"Let no one thing control your life, seek to be complete and at peace."
Pardon the second post, I cant see the first one so im make sure this got posted.
The Jedi Forum's Code/Creed is the same universal orthodox Creed/Code the one at TOTJO and TOTJF. This serves twofold purpose:
one to show that UJSO has nothing to hide. There is equality at our order, nothing more, nothing less. Since all walk paths of peace and search only for knowledge and experience we seek none. We keep true to our individual choices and beliefs, but we share the knowledge and experience we gained going thru them.
Two, to show again for the upteenth time that I personally am A Jedi. Which hasn't changed and honestly I profess, I am growing weary of having to prove myself over and over again. Im done this is the last time. My actions and beliefs have been the same since I started practicing Jediism. Since they haven't changed and I have always shown Jediist practices, can we be done now? Because I believe that Jedi and Sith should try a peaceful existence becuase trying to existingish one or the other ends in pain, which none want. We are doing it there and we hold our own.
Below is the Creed listed as the Jedi Creed on UJSO, which again Master Caedus hasn't had time to post because of his military duties at the US Presidental Inaugeration. He informed be yesterday he will be posting it when he gets home tonight at approx. 0000 CST. So now TOTJO has both, though the Sith Code was taken out of context by a member who did not read all of the post on which it was laid. I can tell you no one uses this code at UJSO the one posted by a member didnt read the entire post. That was the FICTIONAL Sith Code. For your information the Sith Creed is the same at TOTS and most other sith sites was, the Samurai Creed. The fictional creed is more or less the one posted on TOTJF again it was taken out of context, it was meant to show the difference between Movie Sith and Real Sith. Like I said, no one is going to condone or encourage murder. If anything the sith Creed looks like a individualistic and Independentist creed. Is that bad, no. Its different and as Jedi do we live by that creed, no. Does that mean we must shun and hate those who do? Kinda goes against our doctrine of accepting other religions. As for Jedi there. Only Sith can see the Sith forum. No Jedi outside of the Admins can.
We have no fight with TOTJO, All of us want happiness and to move forward. Now you can see no Jedi is Practicing Sith, nor Sith practicing Jedi. However, we share ideas and experiences. Just like the Rites do at TOTJO there are very few places where Christian/Jewish and Muslims *who have a huge history fighting* can come together. None there have acted in a violent fashion toward me or any Jedi. Most are looking for a safe place to learn without prosecution.
One of the big questions is how can you be a Jedi and share a home with a Sith? good question and the answer is that you know the other is, that they believe differently. So you stick to your beliefs, they stick to thiers, yet you can still come together and share information. NO Jedi at UJSO is prcticing sithism, and NO Sith is Practicing Jediism. There is no need because both are in house.
One additional thing. Since my membership and Master Status was attained through TOTJO and I keep my position there for training apprentices in TOTJO Jedi Practices. It was decided from the UJSO Council that I Serve as Ambassador to TOTJO- Pending EC approval of course. This can be confirmed through Master Caedus as needed. Since previous communication lapses and mistakes were made, I will serve as the conduit to and from UJSO for all information offical. This way no miscommunication can happen. I am not a internet book, I will not move things between Temples, as I have shown this week even. Some answers I will not give from the Temple to the Order, same with the vice-versa.
By good graces, Master Caedus has arrived home early and the creeds are posted on the UJSO Homepage. The Jedi Creed is below, the Sith one is not going to be published by me, unless asked for by the EC.
The Jedi Creed
I believe in The Living Force Of Creation:
I am a Jedi, an instrument of peace;
Where there is hatred I shall bring love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.
I am a Jedi.
I shall never seek so much to be consoled as to console;
To be understood as to understand;
To be loved as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
The Force is always with me, for I am a Jedi.

We won't consider anything less than a line by line commentary by Ms. Stockton on
http://templeofthejediorder.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=21&Itemid=35
stating which her sith accept and which they reject so we know exactly what we are dealing with.
This sith Creed, which is nowhere to be found in history before 1919 is gobbledygook; tells us nothing about what sith believe or their way.

Br. John and Members,
I have forwarded your request to Ms. Stockton. As for the decision. Her response is as follows:
\"I do believe that is in the hand of the EC. I will not communicate with Br. John because it will bring personal feelings toward one person into play. That would not be right or fair to Either UJSO or TOTJO. I will be glad to assess any and all requests made to me by the Executive Committee that governs the Temple of the Jedi Order.\"
I would remind the Temple and the EC that the Jedi and Sith sides of UJSO are different, yet still communicate. So the relevance of the information is still in question.

I don't like that Becky has a Temple and that she is trying to do this. And if I read what I think I read, she wants us to accept something from her Temple? Hmm...well, she caused trouble as a Member, but we can still give her a chance.

It has come to my attention that my Master, Zanthan Storm has been banned for simply associating with Becky and her Temple. He does not spread her business here, other than when asked. You Admin. should not have done this, because it is un-fair. Why was he banned?

I thought the Jedi Order was open and supported members of other Orders/Religions joining our forums for discussion. The open sharing of thoughts. philosophies, and ideas is what drew me to join this Temple. Maybe I misunderstood or maybe things have simply changed (I haven't had reliable access to the internet for about a month).
What I see here is Master Zanthan posting facts to clear up any misconceptions. I hope that this long-serving member and Cardinal of our order has not truly been banned or excommunicated.
This seems to have turned into a matter of entire Temples/Orders fighting against one another. Does anyone ere really fear competition for the loyalty of the Order's members? In matters of religion and philosophy individuals should be free to make their own informed choices based on personal beliefs and values. As opposed to making 'statements' regarding similar yet different organizations why not concentrate on the purpose of this Jedi Order and continue our teaching of those who wish to learn?
Everyone who has taken the Oath must look to their own hearts/souls/inner-force to guide their actions. Words, even the words of an oath, can be open to interpretation. I'm not saying anyone is right or wrong (besides, that's not something for me to judge), but I would really really really like to see us all working towards coexisting without hate or resentment.

If you have been away for a while than maybe you should look in to some things that have been going on.Master Zanthan is no longer banned but I dont blame John for taking such action. This temple has put its hand in the fire once before and now we know that fire BURNS! and we dont want to get burned again.

I've been reading posts and articles, trying to catch up on as much as I can without having been here myself to witness what is going on. Maybe there are other posts I'm missing because they have been deleted, but I would be greatfull to anyone who could fill me in. I just don't see how banning members for sharing info about other religions is acceptable, but I'm not in charge of anything outside of the Abrahamic Rite, so that's not my call to make.
But my main point is that I don't see why so much time and energy is spent making 'statements' about this new UJSO. As I said before, everyone needs to make their own choices based on oaths, creeds, and beliefs. It seems to me leaders here at the Temple should focus more on the internal teaching of this Order than on trying to compete with or tarnish other orders. If people want to join another organization, that's their choice to make based on their own faith.
