    So we all know where I'm at, but I want you all to know I'm going to get through this somehow. Today I've opted to make a long list of things I can still do, from crafts to chores to PT and see if I can build a "Can Do" schedule of it all to fill the void of no longer even dreaming of going back to work.

    Everything has to change for me, at least how I do things, so I may not be online as much as I used to in order to save my wrists and neck a little. The IP is going to be slow-going.

    I'm also approaching this as a vacation per my doc's orders. He literally told me to pretend I'm on vacation because if I was rich he'd send me on vacation to reduce my stress and help my body have that much more healing power....this means NEVER attacking a project at full force like I used to when it was work. Oy, the first world problems, right? Having to fool myself because I was self-employed and now can't tell the difference between work and play....

    And for any others out there in the group with PTSD or CPTSD, there's a new book out that's fabulous. It's called "The Body Keeps the Score" and it is most helpful in bringing light to the "why did this happen to me" question that makes PTSD so hard to overcome.

    And now I'm off to start today's home PT so I can get fit enough to start pool therapy with my water therapist next week.

    Thank you all for helping me get through to today. I know I'm not out of the woods yet, but it's better to have the group even if we can't see each other in person.
