I'd Like to Hear Your Thoughts on Acceptance

I'm writing the second of a ten part Apprentice lesson, this time dealing with the concept of Acceptance. There are so many ways to look at acceptance that even after a week of pondering, I still can't put these thoughts to paper, for this reason, I ask your thoughts.

Acceptance to me is the force that makes you move on ....... which either makes you stay or go/ learn or not learn.

Can you explain what you mean?

To me acceptance is a strange thing. Im a fan of the animal kingdoms rules of acceptance. Animals will live every day of their lives with out thought or plan.(some animals plan i know but most of the time they are tasked with a certain basic forge find eat do it again mentality) when ever a obstacle crosses their path they simply find a way to finish their objective with the obstacle some times in their way. Horses accept everything they see. They are strong enough to overpower most anything hence forth they have survived and we have harnessed their strength for so long. Tome the Force teaches acceptance and actually as i see it actually makes the obstacle a part of the solution at times. Kinna wierd hu? Puts a new light on how we as the dominant beings are ...not so dominant ...

Acceptance like many other words is subjective.....its open to interpretation. First you have to accept then you move on so the act of accepting is accepting to move on. It a very personal word and like this order is very much tuned to your own personal journey.

Accept what? and move on to what?

Exactly ....... It depends on the situation.

If you had the news you had cancer you at some point reach the point of acceptance then you move on (come to terms)
