Brothers, haiku's are more than count of syllables and a bit of significancy.
There should be a deep connection to nature, moment, deep zen state of concentration and most careful choice of words, including not only what they mean and count of syllables, but etymology, resonance, rhythm within rhythm and all this inexplainable things which constitute poetry.
Haiku is more a meditation than wordplay. One true haiku a day is a tremendous feat.
That being said, I wish you success
(My haikus are in Russian, translation of poetry is hard for me still.)
