My sister recently made a suicide attempt. She's safe and well with my parents back home at the moment, but it's really shaken us up. Please, please keep her in your prayers and whatnot. Thank you.

The power of prayer is not to be underestimated. I will hold her in my prayers and visualize with confidence her well-being.

It is said that many suicide attempts are secretly cries for help, so let us hope that such is the case here, and that you and your family will be successful in determining how best to help her.

I have a very close friend in Colorado who has recently only barely survived a mental crisis, lost all sense of who she was, almost killed herself, and was saved. Nobody knows what happened or why it happened. She has since been diagnosed with skizophrenia and put on Abilify. Since this experience, she's lost most of her friends who don't see her the same anymore and who judge her as not being worth their time. She is barely making it through work that she has had to go back to, and today she is having a CAT scan done to see if she has a brain tumor or the such. She has been very scared about if something is potentially fatally wrong with her, so I have been giving her my support and I thought I would come here to ask you to send well wishes to her as well.

Tell me a little more about her. Town, age, short, tall, married,kids,work,hobbies etc...It helps me get a better mental picture of the person. I'll send my best thoughts.

Over the last few years, my father has been battling prostate cancer. He is doing well overall, but the last few weeks have found him once again battling cancer cells found on his hips and legs. Along with that, he has a Foley cat because his urinary tube is blocked and surgery will be performed this Tuesday.

Please remember him in your meditations as he fights on.

May the Force be with him and keep him strong during this trying time.

I know most people ask for prayer/healing for their loved ones, unfortunately I'm the one who needs some help, my health has been slowly getting worse since I was young, in 96 I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, the name doesn't even begin to cover the suffering. In the UK I believe it's called Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, or M.E.; the last couple years my health decline has been pretty drastic, I'm unable to get out of the house aside from sitting on my lawn, brushing my teeth leaves me too winded to stand, most of my time is spent in bed, and in horrible pain.

My mother is looking into finding a specialist, even if we have to travel to another state, but I feel like a member of the living dead here, and when you feel like you're dying, the concept of actually dying doesn't seem so bad. I need something: prayers, healing, the Force, God, something. I just can't keep going like this for yet a another year.

Hi, I would like to ask for healing of my lower back. I hurt my back training Kung Fu one of the guys spun me around & slapped me in my lower back. I don't think he knew of my injuries. I hope it wasn't done in bad faith. I am healing up & would like to ask for healing.

I also am in remission for cancer, now 6+ years & counting!

I also would like to ask for spiritual healing, many things can be said there.

My mother was rushed to hospital today, she cant breathe on her own for now, she also said that she does not wnat to go on like this anymore, i can relate but still hope she stays around for a bit , my hopes and prayers are for that but part of me tells me i have to say goodbey , i am torn inside , i feel selfish and confused i ask for prayers for her and for my family .

I'll pray for both of you to find the peace you require.
