When making a big decision, how do you decide which direction to go? And if it's a feeling-based answer, are you able to describe the feelings in physical terms (ie: I recognise fear in my body because I am cold and my belly and jaw feel tight")?

It's a gut feeling initially, but if I don't go through with what feels like the right choice my brain keeps telling me 'no'. I do think things through though, I don't make gut choices without making sure the reasoning makes sense.

How do you recognise the feeling of your gut directing you? Is it literally a feeling in your belly? Is it hot, cold, tight, firm, loose, fluttery....?

I guess it sorta feels like my stomach is turning over.

Some choices are 'easy' and I know what the right choice for me is based on experience or just knowing myself, others are tough and I spend ages agonising over until I give in to the gut feeling
