I'm building a physical temple.

Sound lab, medical room, chemistry lab, engineering shop, gymnastic hall, strength room, swimming pool, computer lab, library, meditation rooms.... gee its starting to sound like some sort of Uni campus

Creative arts studio, complete with easels, practice rooms for musicians, notebooks and pens (or typewriters) for writers, and a separate studio with a kiln for sculpturists. We cannot neglect the arts. Oh, and an amphitheatre in case anyone feels up for Classical plays. :laugh:

And chess tables.

Meditation space. Garden/greenhouse. Library. Bathrooms. Maybe bedrooms if someone were to do a meditation retreat or something. I would also suggest a sparring area which could also serve as a small exercise area outdoors. Kitchen, maybe. And, idk, maybe some picnic tables outside.

I would be willing to donate books to the library upon completion.

Obviously, the OP request is an exercise in futility. Dont try and accommodate all these inane requests. Just do you man.

A tea house somewhere in the garden, or a platform with a table and some chairs will also do.. Good luck with your project!

Honestly, for a fledgling temple I would think a roof over a few rooms should be enough. With the exception of amenities such as toilets, showers, kitchen, etc., every room can be multi-purpose dependent on who is at the temple at the time. I would hope any temple of Jediism would be more about the people in it than the facilities anyway.

Libray/Reading room/Class room
Meditation Room/Chill room
Main Room
Living Quarters
Toilet/Shower Room
Kitchen

Not sure about the garden, thinking of having a green house type thing the centre, but I have to talk to my architect friend.

This project is probably going ake 3 years. Earthbag or cob buildings do not take as long as regular buildings.
