I have owned 40 acre plot of land for a few months now and have started to build my own house with a few friends using earthen techniques (cob, earthbag and so on) as a hobbie, however I do plan move into it if I get the required permissions from the council.

Now I am currently planning for a new building; a temple devoted to Jediism or other spiritual stuff. It can be quite large and contain multi floors.

Could you give me a list of rooms needed for such a temple and any other points?

Thank you.

I'm not saying I've never thought of it but a library is a must I would think . My vote and a garden . Seems the more I study the more I wanna grow things . Might just be the hobbit in me who knows!

Wow, congrats! I think that as long as you have maybe a community library, living quarters, and visitors to enjoy it that you'll have Jediism's first physical temple.
Where is it and how long until you think it'll be ready to use?

The project will have to start in summer and will probably take a year (or a year and a half) as it will be quite bigger than anything I've ever made and will include under floor heating. I love cobbing and earthbag techniques as they use the earth around you to make a really organic space (and that it's really cheap).

Rooms:
Community Library
Living Quarters
Garden

The idea is to make a centre communal room and then have rooms branch of this.

Yes, it definitely needs a garden.

Classroom for training
Dedicated internal and external (covered) meditation spaces
And, um, bathrooms

Good luck!

I would love to see a sparring ring and performance area...but that can just as easily be done outside.

If I know anything about temples, the defining characteristics are

Idols

Somewhere uncomfortable to sit.

Sorry, but I won't be able to attend to fulfill this temple requirement.
