Some have taken to me a pretty good level, almost like that grounded feeling when you first get into a lucid dream.

This is what i have been using for the past 2 weeks as well as some brain training games.

Actually I find that frequency to be a bit grating for me. But I have an app on my phone that does sleep music and one of the settings is a pulsing sound similar to that that you can add to other sounds or as a stand-alone. I liked it alot because it would start low and build up over the time you set it.

It also had different settings for productivity, relaxation, meditation, sleep, learning, and wake up. All with their own pattern and frequency. It also has a setting where you place your phone on you face and it flashed light into your eyes. I'm still not sure what to think of that one haha. It was nice when I was deployed though, the light and sound helped distract me and let me fall asleep better I think.

I actually forgot it had a meditation setting. I'll have to give that a try :D thanks for reminding me!

I'm too sensitive for them I think. It has the same effect of nails on a blackboard for me. I'm overly sensitive to sounds though.

I like this guys music, he previously was giving away 30min long soundscapes at his site just requiring email signup, not sure now. I'm pretty sure they were recorded as binaural but a quick look and I couldn't find it mentioned at his new site.

I sometimes work with binaural beats - usually mixed with pink noise so the sound is not quite as "grating." :)

This wasn't too bad. It didn't hurt my ears anyway :D

I used to use them; but then I realized after finishing meditation my mind is still busy... just like when you drink coffee, you are awake but deep inside you still need sleep... but you postpone it for a limited time...

But when I meditate without these, I can say for hours my mind is in peace... :)

I was really skeptical of this (and stuff like it in general) ,but when I tried it holy crap I felt like I was on drugs, not sure if that's a good or bad thing, Very interesting.

What are the dangers?

One time, I used binaural beats, and I was taking a nap, when suddenly I woke up and a giant face (unnamable) rushed toward my head and nearly gave me a heart attack...

Needless to say, I haven't used them since.
