2 things, for accuracy

2) He finished it by himself, but his father put in a significant amount of work with him in the beginning...all he did was take the cabin that he and his father started together, and expanded it to be a large home...a "castle" to continue the misnomer.

Rickie...I don't think that martial arts would require that level of devotion. I know several masterful black belts who did not devote themselves to their arts that completely and they're better than any others I've seen.

Besides...if his dream was to pursue his martial arts...there would be the possibility of financial returns as, especially if he's devoting that much time to it, he could open a school and charge people to learn from him...but then, that's likely possible no matter what the dream is...

what is it and why does it take 10-15 years? is it from an ad for 'program manager, 10-15 years experience required plus MBA' or something?

No it's just what others in the field had to go through to land a job, it pays well.

PM me if you want more info.

I have spent hundreds maybe thousands of hours pouring through every single job that is listed on bls.gov.

I haven't been able to find any that would allow me to live a basic standard of living, and pursue my dreams.

I figure if I am going to be working all the time anyway, I might as well be working for a job that pays well.

Yeah, sorry about that.

It isn't misleading though, it's legit.

I'd be more open about it if I could, it's not something suited for a public discussion.
