Aikido uses a short staff called a jo.

In Hapkido you learn staff, as well as cane, and escrima sticks.

In my Ninja training we were taught staff, escrima, tonfa, and other weapons, they also teach you how to make an every day object into a weapon.

The only Martial Arts we have here are tae kwon do and karate.
Ive done them both, And i wanna try akido and ninjitsu but there not taught here.
Can someone find out if there are any classes in the south yorkshire area for either of them.

Zui Quan uses a staff and a cane but i dont think you would be interested in this one...its a bit ruff on the body o.O

aikido dos youse a jo althow it can be hared to fined a school that teches it not all school's tech wopones and wean theay dow theay seme to foces on the boken [woden sored] most of the time. althow maysalfe the jo is may favreat it is less brutaill and less grusem than the boken or tanto [knife] and its just funn becos you can slide your hands and youed the howl thing you are not stuch to won spot like the boken or tanto. good luck and have fun.
