Thank you both. Since this was posted I have also been volunteering at our veteran room once a week at the campus I teach at. I am making some good connections and should have some more modern general advice soon, in terms of Veteran's services and assistance.

i already work for the florida department of veteran affairs....and am a veteran myself....
i tend to get a bit.....touchy when it comes to looking out for veterans....i get that big brother thing where i see them as my younger siblings and get a bit over protective....

Greetings Each
I'm a vet over in the Uk. Was diagnosed with PTSD back in 2014 . There are a few agencies over here who are very good at helpng Veterans with all sorts of issues . Think its a great idea to have a group like this

I think it's a great idea. Let's talk about the mechanics of it. Where would it be held? Skype? Private chat here? A thread? What do you think makes the most sense?

Glad to see this thread resurrected now. I think there are tons of options, we could definitely start a Skype group. I'm pdriggett on Skype.

I am newbie to the Temple, but a recent AF retiree myself with PTSD & Fibromyalgia. I maintain a FB page for my service dog, Tucker, and there is a lot of useful info posted thereas I come across it. It is "Tucker, PTSD Service Dog." I am here for anyone who needs it! May the Force be with you, in the New Year and Always!
