_A Word from the Director_
The original idea for Power of the Dark Side was 'let's make a duel'. The year was 2003, Episode III had it's premiere and all three of us - me, Jakub Koucký and Lukáš Malý - were so exited about it that we immediately started to prepare for shooting our own Star Wars. Our little idea of a simple duel grew into a regular fan film, with dialogs, flying starships etc. Unfortunately, during the year 2004 we found out that it's going to be much more difficult than we thought and suddenly, our idea began to shrink again...Long story short, in the end we agreed on this: 'Let's make just a duel. Nothing big, just to try if we can.' And with the little experience we had, we tried to do our best.

It was one of the first videos we did and it's undoubtedly far from perfect. In summer 2009 however, we plan to shoot a sequel - a real story-based Star Wars fanfilm.
