Exercise I - Following Instructions
Not an exercise you are required to submit any work for. If you have read everything up to this point, you are already on track for completion of Exercise I. Without meaning to sound rude, we know who has read and followed the instructions, simply by the questions they ask. We have nothing against anyone asking questions, but there does come a point where it is bothersome when a person obviously hasn’t read the instructions when they ask a question that is answered simply by reading the information on the site.
Many of our longer standing members have invested a great deal of time and energy for no reward (other than to help you) in writing guides, tutorials, and instructions as well as the information on the Front Page and within the new comers Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) sections.
We KNOW when people have not bothered to spend a few moments reading them when they ask questions which are easily answered simply by reading the appropriate information.
Imagine if you were a doorman, all day, you stood next to a sign that read ‘Exit’ that pointed to the door next you. And, all day, people asked "How do I get out of here?" It would soon become an irritant, and you would feel "Why do I bother?" So please, invest a few moments of your time in reading instructions, etc, and following them. Many, if not all, of your questions will be answered along the way.
