Is this the same person? It doesn't look like the same guy in the pictures I saw on his little icon thingie. I'm not defending this guy in any way, I just want to ensure its the same person before we do whatever we are going to do. I know there are several people with my same name, the only difference is their middle name, I'd hate to be accused of something this serious, even if later it was found out it wasn't true.

It IS him, there is NO secret. John Phelan KNEW about it at the original TOTJO, where he (Hornbeck) was forbidden to have privatized interaction with minors. It's been a source of discussion since 'Dosu' somehow found out and made it public. This started an uproar over redemption and such. And it certainly doesn't make the victims stop screaming in their sleep, start trusting adults again, stop them from going into lives of drugs and crime, or take away the PERMANENT scars that are left behind because some monster couldn't get some therapy and self control. ESPECIALLY when one can take the time to come to Jedi sites to play with kiddies, but cannot be bothered to follow the guidelines of his release. Look carefully. Transient. Sex Offender. Public Library computers. Far be it from me to have an opinion, but maybe Jack needs to worry more about getting his LIFE together and getting somewhere to LIVE..rather than being a BAD representative of this faith. Word has reached my ears about the erroneous notion that I am in violation of the law. I have come to set things straight.

1. I am NOT on probation or parole. I am a private citizen with the same rights, privileges and responsibilitie s as anyone else. The only exception is that I must register as a sex offender for the rest of my life, and my registration is current (up to date). If the website shows that I am in violation it is in error as I register every 30 days and I re-registered on 11-21-07, before that it was on 10-25-07. It takes them awhile to update the website.


2. As for the 16 year old in question, I dropped him as an Apprentice at the request of the council of the Temple of the Jedi Order and not to contact him pending their actions. The training was to be done in an open forum on the TOTJO site. I wanted the open forum because he had the tendency to use PM’s and I did not want that. Everything was to be in the open forum, but that is now a moot point. Even I realize [now] that it was inappropriate for me to accept him in the first place. That I regret. My thinking was since he was an instructor of the martial arts; the he would be matured enough. I was wrong.


3. I am not banned from the use of computers or the Internet. I was prohibited while on parole. In fact I gave the police my email address incase they needed me to come in. I discharged from parole in December 2005


4. As for banning me here. The only reason I and here now is because of this thread. As you remember I asked for my account to be deleted.
