Ladies and Gentleman of the Order,

 This announcement is to relate to the membership the reason Br. John has decided to take a (what I hope is) short leave.
This evening a great many unfortunate events occurred regarding both Br. John and Todd of Temple of the Jedi Force.

 Here are the Facts that can be and are Known…all else is mere speculation and heresay and as such shall not be related in this announcement.

Fact#1: This evening a fight occurred between Todd of Temple of the Jedi Force and Br. John’s brother in law (his sister’s husband). This fight became violent and all accounts leave Todd Badly beaten.

Fact#2: This fight occurred at the home of Todd Evan Fogal in Beaumont (where all parties involved live)

Fact#3: This fight took place regarding the issue of Todd’s willfully posting the home address of Br. John’s sister and her Husband (as well as other information that may be private) in a public manner.

Fact#4: We do not know who started the violent action (as both sides claim the other)

Fact#5: This fight should IN NO WAY be regarded as an attack on TOTJO or TOTJF or the memberships thereof.

Fact#6: Br. John’s mother was admitted to the Hospital this morning with a severe and life threatening infection.

Fact#7: Br. John’s Grandmother experienced a series of Anxiety attacks to the extent of needing to contact emergency services.

These events have left Br. John (in his opinion) in such a state of shock that he feels he is incapable of performing his duties for the time being.

 LET IT BE KNOWN:

 Temple of the Jedi Order or the membership thereof do not condone the use of violence as a means to the resolution of conflict.As Jedi, We are first and foremost negotiators. We do not condone the use of violence, however, we also do not condone the immoral and unwholesome posting of potentially private information without the permission of the related party. The Texas Public Information Act states that the home address and phone number of public school employees is regarded as public information unless the employee requests otherwise. While we cannot state on the record that the involved party made this request of her employer (as we do not know), it is our opinion that it is both immoral and disrespectful to maintain this information in public view after numerous requests of the involved party for this information to be removed.

With this in mind I encourage the memberships of both TOTJO and TOTJF to hold harmless one another regarding this matter and further encourage each member to pray/wish well both Todd and Br. John alike. I personally wish Todd a Speedy recovery and all the best for his family, as should we all. I further pray for the Speedy recovery of Br. John’s family and for his well being as, again, I hope we all do.

I want to thank Bishop Dan for his assistance in preparing this announcement. It is a marvelous blessing to have men and women such as him who are willing to spend hours on the phone into the wee hours of the morning to aid in the work of this temple. this is unfortunate indeed. the sequence of events as i saw unfolding usually lead to violence in my experience and as sad as i am to be so, i was again proved correct. it went from absurd to ludicress, to insane, to physical violence. its no wonder most of the innocent people involved were affected in a traumatic way. i wish i could go and stand between these people and take all the acts of violence onto myself, as i am no stranger to physical attacks, i could easily absorb it and dissipate it. heck i've been know to even dodge a bullet on occassion so even if it went there i could deal with it. i want to help, and meditation and positive thought are not having the immediate effect i had hoped......at the TOTJF, my words go ignored as i am only an Apprentice in thier eyes, unworthy of a response by todd and ignored by the Council, i have little ability to affect anything there. my forte is in the physical world, when i am there physically then i can make changes, do some good. i have walked the Path of Jedi for many many years, im not one who only 'talks the talk'. i 'walk the walk' much better than i 'talk the talk'. as for specifics, unfortunately i must be there to say.

I wish all the best in healing. And i will meditate that all gets worked out peacefully and all will know that violence is NEVER the answer. We are only human, but that should be no excuss, especially for a Jedi. I do not know Todd and barely know Br. John but i do hope them and their families the best, especially the innocent people who have been hurt through all of this. I know the elderly can take things so much harder then any of us can. MY best wishes go out to all involved. May all find peace.

It saddens me to know that two of my brothers have
ended up in such a bad place. I sincerely hope that
both can reach a peaceful compromise that will end
this argument. I will meditate on this and i send
by best wishes to Todd to get well, if he isn't
already.
