hey all,

I spent yesterday at the doctor's office for a physical.While i was waiting I tried to slow my breathing and contemplate on our recent dicussion about how the Force contains both light and dark sides and I was quite amazed at how easily it came with all the hustle and bustle that was around me. I use a cane that i black with a black plastic handle that is molded to fit my hand. As I was meditating I couldn't help but notice how the Light was reflecting off the handle of my cane and for that one moment it was clear to me that if I took either the Light or the black(dark) away from the cane I would not have the fullness of the cane...and suddenly I undersstood the same about the Force...I continued my meditation for a few moments then I picked up the book I brought with me "Sacred Journey of the Peaceful Warrior" by Dan Millman and was reading when I came across another insight..."The Real Voyage of Discovery Consists not in Seeking New Landscapes,but in having New Eyes"....a quote from Marcel Proust that was used in the book. I found this quote to be interesting because it seems like since I began the Jedi Path more and more I see things in a new way...any comments are always appreciated

Id like to suggest you read this alan watts paper - not quite the same as your post - but similar in many ways - youll see (excuse the pun)

i will definitely look into the alan watts paper when i can get some time to do so...the lessons and trying to keep read up on the forums as well as normal life is keeping me pretty buy but hopefully this weekend i will get some extra time : )
