Force
be with you:
We believe in Peace, Justice, Love, Learning and using our abilities for Good. We are not fictional Jedi, nor are we role playing. We live our lives according to the principles of Jediism and work together as a community to both cultivate and celebrate.
Due to my recent letter to my father, I finally got a chance to use his bedroom for a couple hours so I could spend some much needed time in meditation rather than my daily contemplations. It was truly an awesome feeling just to be able to close my eyes and grow still and feel the Force flowing all around me. I had been missing thi sense of connection for quite some time yet it seemed to come the second I was able to get away from the hustle of my daily life. The experience was so moving and strong that I couldn't help but my body shake. While curious as to why my body reacted in this way, I put off any contemplaions and allowed myself to experience the moment. Since I came out of meditation, it eems that the chronic pain in my back and shoulders that is a constant companion has seemed to lessen although it doesn't seem to have gone away totally. Things also look brighter and more vital then they did before.

I have a chronic pain condition - and I have found that 'self hypnosis' helps - as well as the general mentality of the sufferer.
If you 'think' oh my - this hurts like hell - then it will - and it only gets worse as you focus on it
Try something like 'pain is my friend - it means im alive' you will always be 'aware' of the pain (which is good - trust me - you dont want to switch off pain receptors) but ot wont be the dominant feeling, either in body or mind
