The Good News: WE got home from the new Neuro-Dr. to a phone message from our lawyer saying my SSI has been approved.
This was a real surprise, for those who know the SSI system, I have applied less than a year ago, and did not even have to appear before a judge. THey simply upheld the appeal the Lawyer made rigth after the initial refusal (that everyone gets).
We were not expecting results for another year, and not without a fight.
I'm still recovering from that, and the problems of not being on needed medications a few days due to the fact I don't have my SSI yet. Lol
I have no clue how long it takes between approval and payment. But it will be a huge relief, and a help toward my Jediism studies to have that off my neck.
