Dear Br. John:
 
What is the deal with the two organizations Temple Of The Jedi Order anjd Temple Of The Jedi Force? 
 
Who are the Jedi Masters in the Order that can take apprentices and if possible since [a friend and I] are both working together to learn and grow, could we apprentice with the same Master at the same time?

Second, what all does the position of Reverend of the Jedi Order entail and what services/ceremonies we are legally capable of administering? I noticed the Ministers section, so I'll be keeping an eye on that, but if you have any brief thoughts I would be greatly appreciative.

Lastly, and I mean no offense Brother Phelan, but I read some posts refering to some sort of dispute in the previous site prior to the legal formation of the church and I am curious as to what went on, as I can't seam to sift through deep enough to find it. If its not to much to ask I am curious about the background of the struggle you've gone through to get things moving.

Dear Inquisitive Jedi: 
 

I expect you to be curious about the dispute.  It's actually a lawsuit Temple Of The Jedi Order vs. Todd Evan Fogal dba UltranetDomains.com.  There is enough to print a good size novel and just about everybody was wrong at one time or another.  It's the natural progression of what happens when a group gets so large that there are enough with different ideas about the best way to train, license and educate the members to cause a schism.

It's a long story and I'd have to do some research myself and I lived through it.  The value was in learning many wrong ways to do things so we don't waste time on dead ends and have a fun religion and community.  Follow Your Bliss says Joseph Campbell and so we shall.

That's the 0.42 cent version.  We are the same http://TempleOfTheJediOrder.org incorporated in December 2005.  We changed to a private Internet server, a faster program and Cool have a new administrator.

The defectors are called Temple Of The Jedi Force and they are using the same old program. 

We have a college of masters and no council.  We learn together as a group and have courses moderated by experts in many different subjects.

I'm gald you asked since it gives me a chance to use my THE TRUTH FEARS NO QUESTIONS  saying.
