Was a interesting Knighting service. A huge congrats to the all who were Knighted that day, as well as to the 3 unsaid individuals who are now reiki masters and will carry on with Jedi Healing practice.
May the force bless you with guidance, strength, love and light.

That was awesome!

A BIG congrats to Jedi Knight WW, Master War Beauty and a job well done to Rev Ace!

(My goodness...is this...a little...envy I feel from me, haha)

Seriously, May The Force Be With All of You!

Very cool.

p.s. Master Jestor? How much for a ticket to Illinois? A live ceremony would be wicked cool! Haha.

Hopefully, next year, we will be able to have another ToTJO knighting ceremony at the gathering. It was TOTALLY awesome watching this in person. ^^

Congrats to Knight Wescli and also to GM War Beauty - your mutual dedication and effort has been well rewarded and I'm sure TOTJO will continue to be enriched by the seeds that have been sown!

Also well done to Rev. Ace for an outstanding job as officiator. Great job, sister! :)

    • I believe that I will be reincarnated many times over. I do not necessarily mean that everything that I am will come back in a single being. I mean that my life energy will be released at the moment of my death, and it will become part of the energy that surrounds us. I will become part of everything because my life energy will add to the energy of creation. Through this, I will be reincarnated in many forms because my energy will help birth new beings. I plan to make sure I am directly reincarnated as a tree in addition to the many other beings that I will be reincarnated as at the same time. My death will bring about new life. It is all part of a cycle. For life, there must be death.

    • Some very wise things have been said here and I thank you all for your opinions and advice very much. I've been going through a period in my life where a lot is changing and I have to rethink everything. It is nice to know that I can always find support here and that others know what I a going through. I suppose I just need to let time go by and evolve the relationships that I have, as well as accept other potential relationships to regain my social health. If others accept me for who I am then without even talking about being a jedi I can know that they understand it simply because they see how I practice it every day. In getting to know others, I can better understand myself. I would like to share my immense gratitude to all who have posted here. I have come to a much better understanding through your comments and advice. Thank you and may the Force be with you.

On another note, I just started reading this book called Biocentrism and it's really interesting. It talks about how consciousness fits in with the existence of the universe. It's not a spiritually-centered book, just science. I've used this book in advanced training. There's a wonderful abridgment of it here www.nbcnews.com/id/31393080/ns/technolog...fe-creates-universe/ . Don't miss this treasure www.robertlanzabiocentrism.com/ .

    • Quote: Quote: Quote: Now can we really call mind2 a mind? It doesn't actually do any thinking, it's a mere model. It observes.... Which is how we should being mind1 as well, right? Not thinking, not judging, just observing... Does it really observe? If I make a robot, or more properly an android, and put a brain in it, but only a model of a brain, all the computer chips and motors being in the central cavity, does this brain observe? If I put the wings of a bird on a elephant, can it fly? Did you build the robot to observe? The 'roomba' robot observes, however elementary, its environment so as to be able to vacuum a room... Or would you make one out of a chunk of clay that does not even have the promise of doing any thinking? Quote: The model of me, inside my head, might move and speak, but only as I see myself doing. The brain or mind in that model doesn't actually do anything. You may perceive your brain or mind translating all those signals, from outside of your mind, but when I perceive my mind working, my brain translating signals from my eyes, translating signals from my brain to my mouth, I do it from my thought processing center, inside the same mind. Sure, someone else said 'levels', so run with that...:) Quote: Your description of how you see your brain, are like looking into a glass box, holding a working model of the room you're in. I have that same room, that same glass box, but all it is is a glass box. If i want to see my thoughts I don't look into the box at my computer, I turn away from the box and look at my computer. If I want to see my vision, I look at my tv, not into the glass box at the miniatures of the room. Perhaps I am not being clear enough...:) Imagine you are watching yourself on tv... You dont really know what the actor is going to do, but you watch it... Its like that... Now, look at it like a video game... You control the guy a bit... You make him pickup a stick, however, you didnt make him crouch down, extend his hand, grasp the stick, and straighten back up... All you did, via the controller, was say, 'grab the stick'... Be the controller...
    • Discussion Thread - SZ's Journal (Last post by Jestor)
    • I will publicly post them here...;) We do not allow others to comment in journals because it gets in the way of the journal being checked... A journal, as we use it here, is not really for discussion... Threads have a way of going off track, and we hope to keep this to a minimum by restricting the posts to the bare minimum... KNights and above, besides the journals owners, are all that is allowed to post in journals...EDIT: and even Knights and above, we ask for it to be done sparingly...;) We delete comments without even reading them... And we have gotten messages from journal owners asking for comments from others to be removed, as well as 'thank you's from them when we beat them to the idea... We cannot allow it in some, and not in others... The discrepancy causes even more work for our already overworked staff... I have answered, what I thought were questions in journals, only to be told publicly, or via PM, that the question was rhetorical, and only there for the student to ask themself... I hope this clears it up for you...:) Any other questions, please feel free to ask.... Also, as this is not about 'Jediism', I have moved it...;) Good luk, and carry on...:)
